Bird Brains at the Stafford Cidery

Wednesday, Apr 24, 2019 at 6:30PM

Stafford Springs, CT , United States of America

No tickets available

Did you know that crows are capable of recognizing and remembering individual faces and can teach their children which individuals to avoid? Far from being “hard-wired” as previously thought, recent research proves that birds actually possess sophisticated cognitive abilities. Indeed, responding to changing conditions by changing the way they act, is often crucial to their survival. Join us as we compare and contrast the fascinating qualities of avian intelligence among four different species of birds: an American Crow, a Peregrine Falcon, an Owl, and a Parrot.

Join us at the Cidery for another program by Horizon Wings Raptor Rehabilitation Group.

You MUST pay in advance for your ticket.  No tickets will be sold at door.  Non-refundable tickets.

This event is limited to 40 attendees.  We must leave ample room for the birds to feel comfortable.

You must arrive ON TIME.  Doors will open at 6:30pm.  Show will start at 7pm.  Once the show starts, it is very distracting to have people enter.

Attendees must be over 21 years of age.

Ticket price includes one free pint of hard cider.

Proceeds will benefit Horizon Wings.
