The Pontifical College Josephinum welcomes the general public to its commemoration of the Feast of St. Patrick at the seminary’s eighth annual Irish Fest on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event celebrating Irish culture and heritage will be preceded by a Catholic Mass at 4:30 p.m. in the seminary’s St. Turibius Chapel, followed by an evening of traditional Irish music, food and dance.
100% of Irish Fest proceeds provide financial assistance for seminarians:
Medical and dental expenses not covered by insurance
Books and related school supplies, computer needs
Clothing / personal hygiene needs
Shipping / postage costs related to personal items to and from home
Funding for special seminary outings
Visits to museums and shrines
Transportation expenses related to home visits during holidays
Musical performances for Irish Fest 2013 will be held in two adjoining venues on the Josephinum campus and will feature:

The General Guinness Band
The Righteous Disciples Seminarian Band
A fifty-fifty raffle, door prize drawings, face painting and a balloon artist will provide fun and entertainment for adults and children alike.
Mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. in the seminary’s St. Turibius Chapel.
